Description: Awakening in the laboratories of Doctor Hironimus Monday, all seems lost as the zombies close in… but then your time travelling DNA activates, giving you another chance! As one of the last remaining agents capable of stopping the doc and saving the world, you’re geared with a high-tech visor, insane gadgets and an arsenal of zee-shredding weapons.
Shoot your way through a host of action-packed, hyper-immersive levels in a bid to acquire a cure for the zombie outbreak to stop Monday. It’ll take mettle and a steady aim as you repeat the timelines, each time armed with new technology and knowledge required to save the world… once and for all.
The gameplay is pretty simple, it’s your classic aim, shoot, reload style, but there are some score aspects to it as well as some hidden things to fun along the way for some bonus points. The good news is there are 2 game modes, each offering co-op/online multiplayer or offline singleplayer options which are pretty awesome. The 2 main game modes are normal with all the VR nausea thrown in and a much easier on the stomach comfort mode. Trust me, if you don’t have your VR legs, stick with the comfort mode.
It has to be said that this is one of the best Gear VR to Oculus Rift ported games so far. There have been a few of them, but this game shows the others how to do it right. But yet it still has some of the things that were hated on the Gear VR, like some motion without teleportation, the cheesy storyline and even the graphics are not that much better, to be honest. But even with its flaws, this game offers a lot for the price you are paying. If you like the look of Arizona Sunshine but thought it cost too much, this is a great alternative that doesn’t take itself too seriously and offers much better value for money.
