Description: In DinoFense, you are a dinosaur protecting his/her Dinozens from an onslaught from the outside world. Using the VR Environment, players are required to strategize which enemies they should defeat first in order to make it to the end of each wave. Enemies will spawn all around you, and you must be alert of the entire VR environment. There are three main zones: Beach, Jungle, and Volcano. Each of which has its own variations and special items and enemies specific to that zone.
DinoFense contains two game modes: Adventure and Endless. With Adventure mode, players can enjoy shorter length levels with preset difficulties. As the levels, progress so does the difficulty, with more enemies and more waves before you win. Endless mode has no such respite. Players will face an endless barrage of enemies. Survival is key. By using the landscape and saving your captured dozens, players are awarded power-ups and a higher score. Get Ready, Wave is Starting!
Review: DinoFense is an arcade action game that sees you put with the task of defending your fellow dino family and friends from various attackers. From Cavemen to monkeys, they all seem to want to attack your poor little dinosaur family for some odd reason. The good news is you are given rock shooter to defend them. Set in two game modes, adventure and endless. The adventure is level-based and the endless sees you trying to last as long as you can on a set level.
While running n a grid system everything looks pretty good and the characters are well animated. There are even bonus side missions to do like unlock the caged dinos and picking up the dynamite to get rid of one enemy quickly. While there isn’t a whole lot of depth, there is a lot of fun to be had with this game as well.
While nothing special, and dare I say a little overpriced, there is also a lot to love about DinoFense. It’s a fun arcade shooter that is perfect for the little ones. While there isn’t a lot to challenge older players (apart from the harder difficulty playthroughs) it will keep kids busy for a while. Simple, fun and it looks pretty good as well, but it does get repetitive very quickly. It’s also a shame it wasn’t a little cheaper.
