Description: Step into the Vive and use your own two hands to reroute, remix, and redirect water flows to free trapped water bears! Water Bears VR is the next evolution of Water Bears, winner of the 2015 Serious Play Awards “Best in Show” and the 2015 CTR “Editor’s Choice for Excellence in Design.”
Each puzzle starts with sad water bears that are desperately in need of water. Help them by building and rebuilding water flows using an ever-increasing variety of pipes. Walk around the puzzles in real space, viewing them from all sides to get ideas. Manipulate myriad colours, test your spatial reasoning, and make the most of your limited resources. There are dozens of puzzles and an awful lot of thirsty water bears that need your help!
Consisting of various Challenge Packs they are much like you would expect. The first ones are easy, the last ones are nigh on impossible. Using the Vive wands it is as easy as putting the right pipe in place, but simply grabbing the bit you need and placing it. Do be warned that this game requires a play area of at least 2.3m x 2m which even by Vive standards is pretty big.
Unlike many other VR titles, this is a game that could only really be played in VR. It just feels so natural and you can tell it was made for VR from the ground up. It’s colourful, happy and the early levels are pretty each. Sure, it soon gets pretty hard and a little repetitive. What really like about this game is that it Utilises the HTC Vive to its full potential. While many of us might not ever have the room to play it to its full extent, it is still well worth downloading even if you have just half the advised game space. It’s got cute & colourful graphics and the perfect VR game for kids and adults alike.
