Description: Aike Technology is hoping to set the world alight with their 9 3/4 VR Headset in 2016. But they don’t want the public market which they see as being flooded, they are going for the medical area with this all in one headset that doesn’t need a PC to work. Running on an Android system built into the headset and a special “ring” style controller (Can anyone say Pinch VR) it hopes to be one of the world’s leading manufacturers of all-in-one VR headsets.
It certainly seems to have the right stats, but as for price and what sort of medical applications it will have, we will have to wait and see. But so far it looks good and is well worth following.

Review: Like so many cheap Chinese headsets at the time the ‘9 3/4 VR Headset’ promised everything and delivered nothing. This model was even supposed to come with some sort of tracking ring which never even materialised. In short, it was a cheap pair of video glasses with some tracking features and no software support whatsoever. Maybe it will become a collector’s item one day, but I certainly wouldn’t recommend anyone buying one at full price.
