Description: 3DMark includes everything you need to benchmark your hardware. With eight individual benchmarks, you can test everything from tablets and notebooks to the latest 4K gaming PCs.
Review: Most overclockers know that before running any benchmark tests you need to consider a number of hardware and software factors, in order to avoid any potential damage to your system. After all, it’s your baby and most the time it will be hand built. But once you are ready to start 3DMark is one of the best you can use. Perfect for VR ready systems it includes everything you will need. With eight individual benchmarks, it can even handle 4K pcs!
But tests are not the only thing this tool is good for. There is also bragging rights with Steam leaderboards showcasing the masters of overclocking and the PC hobbyist who want the very best results out of their hardware.
While I did find the leaderboards a little depressing (only because it seemed my own handmade gaming PC sucked) the benchmarking is very detailed and exact. With the reliable benchmarks and clean, easy to use interface this is one benchmarking app every VR machine owner should run at least once. Even if it does leave them in tears looking at their results next to the leaders.
