Description: 101010 is a simple VR puzzle game created as a class project for CS 498 VR at UIUC to help showcase the capabilities of VR. Place 3D blocks in virtual reality and clear lines to earn points. How long can you last? How high of a score can you earn?
Review: ‘101010’ is a puzzle game much like the classic game of Tetris, only you place the blocks given to you in a 3-dimensional cube. To say the gameplay is slow-paced and boring would be an understatement, but if you do stick with it you might get a little bit of a brain workout in the end, but it never feels like a challenge and it certainly never feels exciting. Graphically the game looks OK I suppose with nice clean blue lines and dark environment, but even if it is free this is still not worth a download. It just feels half-made and doesn’t offer even the slightest hints of fun, for me this is best left out of your library until it gets an update or something that I can’t see happing any time soon.
